Simply tap 'Start' and let Kinetic capture essential data such as time, distance, speed, pace, altitude (using Google’s assistance), heading, compass readings, real-time mapping, and more.

Kinetic's modular structure enables users to customize the app to their preferences. While it comes ready-to-use out of the box, you can enhance its functionality by adding multiple modules, arranging them as desired, adjusting settings to suit your needs, and even changing the app's style to match your mood.

All workout data is automatically logged into a detailed training history within Kinetic. Users can share their achievements with friends and family through platforms like Daily Mile, Facebook, Twitter, and Email.

The app also includes running training plans for various distances tailored by professionals. Users can challenge themselves by setting personal goals and tracking their progress towards these targets.

Monitoring heart rate in real-time is made possible by connecting a Wahoo Fitness key and an ANT+ rate monitor to Kinetic. It displays current heart rate, average rate, and target range.

Other notable features include a countdown timer for custom warm-up periods and auto pause functionality to cater to cyclists and urban runners. Kinetic supports a variety of activities beyond running and allows users to create personalized outdoor sessions.

As an added feature in the full version of Kinetic GPS, audible alerts are included.

REQUIREMENTS: The Kinetic App is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 running iOS 4.0 or later. Certain functionalities like sharing and Google-assisted altitude data require an active wireless network connection. Extended use of GPS in the background may impact battery life significantly.
